Ponmo is the smoked dried skin of a cow very popular and much-loved part of Nigerian cuisine. It’s used to compliment popular stews like spicy sauce known as Ayamase and pepper stew, vegetable soup to mention a few. It can be used for any meal and also as a snack when cooked and stewed in a pepper sauce.
